The project involves the installation of telecommunications cabling, structured cabling, security systems (overhead paging, wireless access points, access control, IP camera system, burglar alarm) at a Blythe, CA location. The contractor is responsible for ensuring all labor and materials needed to deliver a complete, fully functional system that complies with all applicable codes, industry standards, and best practices. Reference document G (detailed scope of work) is attached. Other trades may be working concurrently, and the contractor's superintendent/foreman is responsible for coordinating work to prevent conflicts and adhere to the construction schedule. Contractor personnel must wear company-identifying shirts/badges and provide appropriate safety equipment.

The services include access to BOHSI meetings, meeting minutes, outreach to NASA staff, potential special task forces, acknowledgement as a sponsor, partnership opportunities, coordination with other national academies units, and access to expert networks. The period of performance is 12 months from the date of award. The place of performance is the National Academy of Sciences, 500 Fifth Street, NW Washington, DC ****.
