Firms must be independent and licensed to practice in Michigan, have no conflict of interest, adhere to RFP instructions, and submit a copy of their last external quality control review report, demonstrating a record of quality audit work. The audit firm is independent and licensed to practice in Michigan. The firm has no conflict of interest with regard to any other work performed by the firm for the county.
Unsuccessful bidders may appeal an award in writing to the County Administrator within five business days of the notice to award. Unsuccessful bidders may appeal an award of contract, lease or purchase order to the county administrator. Bidders or their representatives are prohibited from communicating with Washtenaw County employees regarding this RFP except as provided under technical questions.
