Snow Plow Government Bids & RFPs

Payment is based on actual hours worked at established hourly rates. payment for snow plowing services rendered will be for only those hours actually worked based on the following rates as established by the board of public works.

Contractors must have appropriate plowing equipment and provide required documentation. all trucks must have a body suitable for carrying a ballast load furnished by owner or shall have other suitable ballast, such as securely attached concrete blocks.

Failure to perform may result in debarment. failure to maintain an acceptable level of quality and responsive service will be documented by the public works department one 1 or more documented instances shall be grounds for termination of this agreement, and will result in the contractor being debarred from provision of service for a period of up to two years.

Submissions received after the opening date will not be considered. submissions received after the opening date and time will not be considered for award.

The county awards to the highest scoring proposer based on approach to project (30%), list of similar work (10%), availability (25%), estimated cost of services (25%), and references (10%). selection of the topranked proposer will be based upon the following criteria and relative importance

Proposers must submit a statement of qualifications, list of subcontractors, references, and equipment list. a statement of qualifications of the proposer and any subcontractors anticipated to perform under the awarded contract

Communications with selection committee members during the selection process, except as authorized, is grounds for disqualification. violation of this restriction is grounds for disqualification from the process.
