This synopsis solicitation is for construction services for flooring
repairs at USCG Air Station Clearwater. The solicitation is a small business set-aside only. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures. Proposals are due by 3 PM on July 2, 2025, via email to ***@***. *. * or by mail to the address provided. A site visit is highly recommended and scheduled for June 23, 2025 at 9:00 AM EST. The anticipated award date is 10 business days after the close of solicitation, on or about July 15, 2025. The scope of work includes surface preparation, coating application, and general requirements. The contractor is responsible for all labor, trades, equipment, components, materials, tools, and supervision. The government will award the contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, best value. Cost and past performance factors will also be considered. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6 PM, excluding federal holidays. The contractor must provide a consolidated list of all contractor personnel at least one week prior to work. Only American citizens and permanent resident aliens are allowed on the premises. All contractor vehicles, equipment, and gear are subject to search at all times. No firearms or weapons of any kind are allowed. The contractor must provide a warranty for the completed flake system, covering defects in materials and workmanship. The contractor shall provide a simple and general schedule of work. The contractor shall conform to the rules and regulations as set forth by OSHA state and federal regulations. The contracting officer's representative has the right to reject defective workmanship or materials or work not performed as per the contract specifications. The Coast Guard has no responsibility for receipt, storage, or protection of contractor's materials. The contractor is responsible for the protection of existing structures, utilities, and vegetation. Any damage shall be
repaired at the contractor's expense. The contractor is authorized to use air station Clearwater power and water while conducting the work. Any other use of power is not authorized. The contractor shall coordinate with the following personnel to arrange access to the facility: CWO Jeff Brundage, CWO Jose Calderon, and Engineer of the Watch. All questions and answers will not be accepted after June 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST.
