The tender requires the delivery of 2 dump trucks and backhoes with trailers to Fort Irwin, CA. Delivery must occur between **** and **** on the first day of the period of performance. The
contractor is responsible for all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for delivery, setup, and maintenance. The government reserves the right to extend or curtail the lease/rental period. Pre- and post-inspections are mandatory, with inspection sheets required. The
contractor must provide 24-hour emergency repair and/or replacement services. Key personnel qualifications and responsibilities are outlined. The
contractor must comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, including using the correct fuel type (diesel or unleaded gasoline). The equipment must be operational and in compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, including having a 5lb fire extinguisher. The government will provide low sulfur diesel fuel. The
contractor must label their equipment near the fuel tank with the wording diesel fuel only if applicable. Failure to label accordingly will invalidate
contractor claims regarding use of incorrect fuel. The government will evaluate the
contractor's performance under this contract in accordance with the quality assurance surveillance plan. The work will be performed in the National Training Center (NTC) footprint located on Fort Irwin, CA. The
contractor must be available between 8:00 a. m. and 5:00 p. m. , Pacific Standard Time, including holidays and weekends, during the established period of performance.
