The bid notice states all invoices to the city of laredo have a 30day term from receipt of completion of services.

The bid notice states he selection and award shall be based on the basis of being the lowest responsive responsible bidder, demonstrated competence and qualifications to perform the services.

A prebid meeting with prospective bidders will be held at city of laredo engineering department city hall 2nd floor on wednesday, february 11, 2026, at 10: 00am.

The bid notice states within ten 10 calendar days prior to the time that the city council considers the recommendation of the citys evaluation committee, the protesting respondent must provide written protest to the city purchasing officer.

The contractor shall have 30 days to complete the work from the date of contract signing.

Bids shall be reviewed for pricing, experience, previous work history, references, state licenses, state registration, insurances, bonds, subcontractors, equipment owned, equipment rented, operator experience, and financial stability.

Bidders must be currently licensed with the Illinois Secretary of State, bonded, and insured. Bidders must have or be able to obtain all applicable licenses and permits in addition to meeting all local, state, and federal requirements to perform requested work. Contractors maybe required additional plans upon permit submittals. Bidders must have and provide proof of general liability, vehicle, and workers compensation insurances and name the city of rock island as a certificate holder. Bidders must own or be able to rent sufficient equipment to complete the work. Contractor maybe required to supply additional plans or stamped drawings for a plan review. which maybe need to obtain a building permit.

Contractors who are interested in this project will need to schedule a site visit with the homeowner, marilyn ryan, by calling them at ****, prior to submitting the bid.

The contractor shall correct the work promptly after receipt of written notice from the district to do so unless the district has previously given the contractor a written acceptance of such condition. If, within one 1 year after the date of completion of the work or a designated portion thereof, or after the date for commencement of warranties established under article 9. 9. 1, or by the terms of an applicable special warranty required by the contract documents, any of the work is found to be not in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents, the contractor shall correct it promptly after receipt of written notice from the district to do so unless the district has previously given the contractor a written acceptance of such condition.

The contractor shall forfeit to the district, not more than two hundred dollars **** for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for each worker paid less than the prevailing wages rates as determined by the director of the department of industrial relations, for the work or craft in which the worker is employed for any work done under the agreement by the contractor or by any subcontractor under it. pursuant to labor code ****, the contractor shall forfeit to the district, not more thantwo hundred dollars **** for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for each worker paid less thanthe prevailing wages rates as determined by the director of the department of industrial relations, for thework or craft in which the worker is employed for any work done under the agreement by the contractoror by any subcontractor under it.

The drone show is scheduled for May 2, 2026 at approximately 8:00 pm.

Payment terms are net 30 days, for this scope of work.

The town reserves the right to accept a proposal based on considerations other than costs and waive and modify any provisions of the request for proposal.

The townschools may make such investigations as it deems necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work.
