The US Embassy in San Salvador requires the purchase of an ion scan 600 explosives and narcotics trace detector. The bidder must have 5 years of experience providing narcotics analyzer equipment to government or non-governmental organizations. The bidder must have SAM registration. The product must be brand new and not refurbished. No Chinese brands are allowed. The bidder must provide training materials in Spanish for 10 police officers in El Salvador within 60 days of delivery. The bidder is responsible for maintenance and support for one year, with an optional additional year. The bidder must deliver the product to the final destination in El Salvador within 120 days of the order being awarded. The bidder must be responsible for replacing any defective items at no additional cost to the US government. The bidder must consolidate the entire shipment to prevent loss and misdirection. All applicable export/ITAR approvals and documentation are required. If a shipping export license is required, the items shall not be shipped until necessary export licenses are approved.
