Security Technology Biddings - Procurement Opportunities

Request for Proposals (RFP) for industrial campus security assessment services. The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC) seeks proposals from entities interested in assessing the current security practices and developing a security master plan. Key dates include an optional pre-submission conference on May 13, 2025, questions due May 16, 2025, responses to questions by May 22, 2025, proposal deadline May 30, 2025, potential interviews June 9-10, 2025, and anticipated contract award June 18, 2025. Work is anticipated to begin June 23, 2025. Proposals must include a cover letter, previous experience/qualifications, proposed project approach, and cost proposal, along with required exhibits. The evaluation committee will use criteria including staff experience, company qualifications, scope approach, and cost. Sealed bids are requested for the construction of 21st century classroom upgrades. Bidders must possess a B license and be on the district's prequalification contractor list for Measure BB bond projects. First-tier subcontractors must also be on the list. Sealed bids are due by 3:00 PM, May 20, 2025, at the district office. A mandatory jobwalk will be held on May 8, 2025, at Palm Elementary School. Contract documents are available from April 22, 2025, from Arc American Reprographics Co. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularity. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the combination of base bids and/or bid options that equates to the lowest total project cost to the district. All workers must be paid not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California.

A site visit for infrastructure upgrades at Lee County Healthcare Center is scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET. Participants should enter through the employee gate and park in the employee parking lot. The project involves constructing a new information technology fiber optic network, upgrading HVAC systems and controls, security systems, and patch panels and rack sensors. The project supports the change from the cprs platform to the ehr platform. The due date for bid submissions has been extended to May 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM EST.

This is a sources sought notice to determine the availability and technical capability of small businesses to provide IT support for the Virtual Warfare Center. Interested businesses must submit responses by May 15, 2025, 12:00 PM Central Standard Time, via email to the specified contract specialists. Responses should include business information, a capability package (no more than 3 pages), and a statement of intent regarding submission of proposals in response to any resulting solicitation. The notice includes specific requirements, including security clearance, NAICS code, and potential use of joint ventures or partnerships. Questions must be submitted in writing via email.
