This is an Invitation to Quote (ITQ) for elevator repair and rescue services for Zone 5 facilities owned or operated by the City of New Orleans. The city pays net 45 from the date that the contractor submits the invoice in Brass and after the sponsoring department approves it in Brass.
All workmanship by the contractor shall be guaranteed against failure or defects during normal use for a period of 1 year from the date of completion of the work. All materials and parts supplied by the contractor will have the standard manufacturers warranties.
The city will award this solicitation to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
The contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Louisiana State Board of Contractors in the field employed or the trade undertaken. The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of licensed experience in the subject trade for commercial clients, municipalities, institutions, and/or school districts.
If a prospective bidder violates the established prohibition on communications (the cone of silence), the city may disqualify its bid package. Failure to comply with contract terms may result in the city retaining the services of another contractor and deducting the cost of the work from any monies due to the contractor.

The deadline to submit a question is May 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm CDT. The bidder will have 2 business days from the date of notification by the designated purchasing official to appeal the decision of nonresponsiveness.
The amount paid under this contract will not exceed $250,000.
