quality assurance at source is provided. Inspection records must be maintained and traceable to the material inspected. All records generated by the manufacturer, used for completing the CoC, must be retained at the manufacturer's facility for a minimum of seven years. The ECDS electronic contractor data submission system is available for certain data submissions and to submit questions and clarifications, and waiver requests on contracts and solicitations. Certification documentation must be submitted via wawf (wide area work flow) to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for review and acceptance prior to each shipment of material.
