The Virginia Army National Guard requires the delivery of prepared lunch and dinner
meals to the Roanoke Regional Readiness Center in Troutville, VA, from July 22 to September 14, 2025. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform the delivery. The
meals must meet commercial and US Army standards, and include allergy, vegetarian, and halal options. A menu must be provided 10 calendar days prior to the event, and any variations must be approved by the COR 5 days prior to the meal. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, policies, permits, and insurance pertaining to the food
industry. The government will provide a final count of
meals by July 1, 2025, including any vegetarian, vegan, and halal requirements. The contractor must maintain a temperature log, and the COR will have access to it at any time. The contractor must comply with all installation access and security requirements. The contractor must designate a contract manager (CM) and an alternate, and submit their names to the contracting officer (KO) 7 days before the service. The contractor must prepare all
meals off-site and transport them to the workspace. The contractor is responsible for preventing foodborne illnesses by properly storing and preparing food in accordance with applicable regulations. The contractor must provide hot/cold containers, serving utensils, and drink containers for service. The contractor must provide proper housekeeping and sanitation of all facilities, appliances, and food preparation equipment. The government reserves the right to have medical service personnel inspect for compliance with all sanitary requirements throughout the life of the contract.
