The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) is soliciting proposals for kitchen hood stack cleaning services. The contract term is two years, with an option to renew for two additional two-year periods. Bidders must submit their responses electronically via ShareFile by October 28, 2025, 2:00 PM Central Time. The solicitation includes detailed requirements, including cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and required documentation. The resulting contract, the solicitation, and the awarded response will be posted to a public website. Bidders must identify proprietary information and submit it in a separate file. Payment will be made by the responsible agency in compliance with the state of Nebraska prompt payment act. The state may require the vendor to accept payment by electronic means such as ACH deposit. In no event shall the state be responsible or liable to pay for any goods and services provided by the vendor prior to the effective date of the contract, and the vendor hereby waives any claim or cause of action for any such goods or services.
The vendor warrants that its services will be performed by competent personnel and will be of professional quality consistent with industry standards. For any breach, the vendor must re-perform the services at no cost to the state, or reimburse the state for unsatisfactory services.
The state may consider, but is not limited to considering, price, location, quality, delivery time, bidder qualifications and capabilities, and state contract management requirements and/or costs.
Bidders must be authorized to transact business in Nebraska and comply with all Nebraska Secretary of State registration requirements.
Violation of the terms and conditions of the solicitation or resultant contract may result in rejection of a bidder's response, withdrawal of the intent to award, withdrawal of the award, negative documentation regarding vendor performance, termination of the resulting contract, legal action, and suspension or debarment of the bidder.
Optional solicitation walkthroughs will be held at various facilities. Attendance is optional.
Any protests must be filed by a bidder within ten 10 business days after the intent to award decision is posted to the internet.
