The contractor must sample all closed loop systems for pH, nitrite, and propylene glycol. The contractor must maintain chemical levels within specified parameters. The contractor must minimize chemical storage on base to an as-needed basis. Empty containers must be removed within 24 hours of application. The government may inspect the contractor's performance. The contractor is responsible for keeping the work area clean and free of debris. The contractor must obtain a burning permit from the Scott AFB fire department prior to welding, burning, or cutting operations. The contractor is not required to provide service on weekends or federal holidays, except in emergency situations. This procurement is a set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The Houston VAMC requires chemical water treatment of various systems. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is tentatively scheduled for issuance on or around June 20, 2025, with quotes due on or around June 30, 2025. The exact time and date for proposal submission will be specified in the RFQ. The anticipated contract award date is approximately 10 calendar days or less after receipt of proposals. The contract performance period is one base period of 365 calendar days and four 1-year option periods. Offerors must represent that they are a SDVOSB, a small business concern under the assigned NAICS code, and verified/certified by the SBA to compete for federal contracts. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFQ and associated documents from SAM. gov and acknowledging all amendments. A cutoff date and time for questions will be established and listed in the RFQ, along with a date and time for the scheduled site visit. Only one site visit will be conducted.
