The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for a blanket order contract to provide bottled
soft drinks to the Louisiana State Penitentiary. The contract is for an initial one-year period beginning July 1, 2025, and may be renewed for two additional 12-month periods. Bids must be submitted electronically via a provided link. Vendors must be registered in the lagov system. A W9 form is required for newly registered vendors. All bid documents, including attachments, must be included in the submission. The bid opening is scheduled for June 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST at the physical address below. The state reserves the right to reject any and all vendors who cannot make delivery within the stated timeframe. Bids must be quoted in quantity and unit specified. Delivery is to be made as needed by the agency. Minimum order quantity is 5 cases. Unit price should include freight charges. Unused quantities will not be invoiced or paid. The state reserves the right to reject individual line items from the award. Items are for canteen resale. Only brand names specified will be accepted. Delivery: 2 delivery days aro. Bids must be submitted online via the vendor portal or in a sealed envelope marked with the bid opening date and number. All bids must be typed, written in ink, or submitted online. Corrections must be initialed. The bid must be manually signed in ink or submitted online. Bid prices shall include delivery of all items f. o. b. destination. Payment is to be made within 30 days after receipt of a properly executed invoice or delivery, whichever is later. All bids must conform to applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Bidders proposing an equivalent brand or model should submit descriptive information. Bid prices must be firm for the contractual period. The vendor is responsible for including all applicable taxes in the bid price. All products must be new, never previously used, and the current model and/or packaging. The manufacturers standard warranty will apply. The state of Louisiana has the right to terminate the contract for any of the following reasons: misrepresentation, fraud, conflict of contract provisions, abusive conduct, intentional violation of the procurement code, or any listed reason for debarment. The state of Louisiana may terminate the contract for convenience at any time by giving 30 days written notice. Failure to deliver within the time specified or to provide the services as specified in the bid will constitute a default. All contracts shall be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of the state of Louisiana. By submitting and signing this bid, the bidder agrees to abide by the requirements of various civil rights laws. The contractor warrants it will comply with federal and state disabilities laws and regulations. The contractor agrees to promptly respond to and resolve any complaint regarding accessibility of its products and services. The contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the state from any claims or damages arising out of its failure to comply with the requirements of this paragraph.
