The Town of Meredith is seeking proposals for janitorial services for the Meredith Community Center. The contract will be for an initial term of one year, with an option for a two-year extension. Bidders must demonstrate adequate financial resources, experience, ability to comply with schedules, a satisfactory performance record, required licenses, proof of insurance, and participation in a drug and alcohol testing program for employees. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, and equipment, including approved green seal certified chemicals. The Town will supply paper products, trash bags, mop heads, mops, buckets, dust mop heads, dusters, vacuums, vacuum bags, floor cleaning machines, floor machine pads, and brooms. Services are to be performed between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM, seven nights a week. A mandatory site walkthrough will be held on April 13th, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Community Center. Proposals must be submitted electronically or in paper form by Friday, May 1st, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Late proposals will not be accepted. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Certificates of insurance must be submitted with the bid documents. The contractor must indemnify and hold harmless the Town against any liability, claims, or costs arising from their work. Invoices will be submitted for payment, and payment will be made within 30 days of satisfactory completion of work. The contract may be terminated for cause with 5 days written notice or without cause with 60 days written notice.
