Proposers must be established businesses with at least three (3) years of satisfactory experience in full-service janitorial maintenance, having satisfactorily performed in a comparable facility under a comparable scope of work for at least two (2) years. Proposers must also have satisfactorily completed one (1) project of approximately two-thirds (2/3) or more of the square footage on which they are bidding.
Should the performance fall below the levels specified in this document, the contractor will receive written notice as to such defects and a prorated fee will be deducted from the monthly invoice. Should the unsatisfactory performance continue, the contract will be terminated.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference and job site visit will be held on June 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM CST at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. Attendance at both the pre-proposal conference and the job site visit is required to be considered for award.

Any proposer who believes they were adversely affected by the city parish's procurement process or award may file a protest in writing to the director of purchasing within seven (7) days from the date the basis of the protest was, or should have been known.
Failure to attend the mandatory pre-proposal conference and job site visit will cause your proposal to be deemed nonresponsive. Failure to meet the proposal opening date and time shall result in rejection of the proposal. Noncompliance with security requirements may lead to immediate termination.
