Proposals are solicited for fiber optic cabling installation services at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland, 149th Fighter Wing. Services include engineering, furnishing, installation, testing, termination, and commissioning of a fiber optic infrastructure. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 22, 2026. The proposal submission deadline is August 5, 2026. The contract term is one year with four one-year renewal options. Respondents must have at least three years of experience in fiber optic cable construction and installation and at least one crew member must be BICSI certified. Proposals will be evaluated based on organizational capacity, demonstrated performance, cost structure, and experience working on federal facilities.
The response deadline is August 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
AACG will not provide advance payments. Payment shall be made only for work satisfactorily completed and accepted by AACG and JBSA in accordance with the applicable task order.
The contractor warrants that all goods, materials, equipment, and workmanship furnished shall be new, free from defects, and in full conformance with applicable specifications, standards, and JBSA technical requirements.
Proposals will be evaluated based on organizational capacity (20 points), demonstrated performance (30 points), cost structure and task order pricing approach (30 points), and experience working on federal facilities (20 points).
Respondents must demonstrate a minimum of three years of experience in fiber optic cable construction and installation and possess all required licenses, registrations, and certifications. At least one member of each installation crew must be BICSI certified.
A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on July 22, 2026, at 8:30 AM at the 149th Fighter Wing conference room. RSVP is required by July 10, 2026.
Failure to obtain required installation access or attend the mandatory site visit may result in the proposal being deemed nonresponsive. Prohibited communications may result in disqualification.
