Sealed bids for the Pataskala BMV Alterations project rebid will be accepted by the Licking County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Bids must include 2 copies and one thumb drive. A bid surety in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent 10 of the total bid shall accompany each bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project consists of minor interior alterations and finishes. The date for substantial completion is January 9, 2026. Liquidated damages will be applied for failure to achieve substantial completion by the date for substantial completion.
The bid states that each applicable portion of the work shall be completed by the completion date, which is January 9, 2026. If the contractor does not have its work on the project substantially complete by its date for substantial completion, or if the contractor does not have its work finally complete within thirty 30 days of achieving substantial completion, the contractor shall pay the owner and the owner may set off from sums coming due the contractor liquidated damages.
The bid states that he lump sum contract sum to be paid by the owner to the contractors, as provided herein, for the satisfactory performance and completion of the work and all of the duties, obligations and responsibilities of the contractor under this agreement and the other contract documents will be see below, subject to additions and deductions as provided in the contract documents.

The per diem amounts are set forth in the following tables, whichever may be applicable: liquidated damages failure to achieve substantial completion of its work by its date for substantial completion contract amount dollars per day.
