Addendum issued to modify, clarify, or add to the original bid documents. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of the addendum in their bid submission. A bid bond is not required for any of the five paving bids.

Sealed bids for road paving in place related services are due on September 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Bidders must submit a completed bid proposal form, project references, non-collusion affidavit, new vendor disclosure statement, and any other required specifications. The work will consist of the installation of bituminous concrete materials, reclamation and milling operations in accordance with Connecticut Department of Transportation standard specifications. Bidders must inform themselves of the conditions relating to the construction and labor. Questions must be submitted in writing by September 23, 2025. The successful bidder will be determined from the lowest, qualified, reasonable, and responsible base bid amount. The town reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder must furnish a new vendor form and W9 form, be registered with SAM. gov, and provide their unique entity ID. The successful bidder must also secure and maintain specified insurance. All work must be completed by November 30, 2025. The town will retain 2% of the final contract price as a one-year guarantee. The contractor is responsible for locating all underground utilities and maintaining and protecting traffic. The town may make changes to the plans during the progress of work. The state of Connecticut Department of Transportation, standard specifications for roads, bridges and incidental construction form 819 is part of the contract documents.
