This is a request for quote (RFQ) for the replacement of a drainage sump pump and worn-out parts at the Amistad Power Plant. The period of performance is a maximum of 120 days after contract award. A site visit is highly recommended between March 25th and 27th, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Offers are due April 17, 2025, 3:00 PM MST. The requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The quote must be submitted via email only, and include the CLIN structure. The government will award the contract to the lowest price technically acceptable, responsible offeror. Additional documents required:
project schedule (within 7 calendar days of contract award), licenses and certifications, system designs (approved by power plant superintendent and electrical engineer), installation procedure plan, material and equipment certifications, safety documents, warranty, training, training manual, and O&M manuals (3 copies each). The government will furnish a 125-ton overhead crane and operator. The contractor is responsible for all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary for the replacement. The contractor is responsible for securing the work site, equipment, and materials from vandalism and theft. The contractor is responsible for worksite safety and compliance with OSHA regulations. The contractor must conduct safety meetings with all personnel involved in the
project and power plant personnel prior to starting the
project and daily safety meetings at the start of each workday. The contractor shall submit an electronic copy of their invoice to usibwc's finance and accounting division (FAD) via ***@***. *. * copy of the invoice shall be emailed to the CO and COR concurrently with emailing the invoice to FAD.
