City of Milan is soliciting proposals for residential cleanout, environmental remediation, and demolition services at 311 North Street, Milan, MI **** include debris removal, hazardous material abatement, structure demolition, utility disconnection, and site restoration. Proposals are due July 27, 2026. Award will be based on best value, qualifications, and compliance. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 15, 2026. Contractor must be licensed and comply with Michigan regulations.
The required completion date for the project is November 1, 2026.
Proposals will be evaluated based on compliance with the RFQ and Michigan regulatory obligations, qualifications and experience, demonstrated ability to perform environmental remediation, proposed cost, best value, project schedule and staffing availability, references and past performance.
Contractors must be qualified and properly licensed to provide cleanout services, environmental remediation, asbestos abatement, structure demolition, utility disconnection, and site restoration. Proposals must include copies of all Michigan licenses and certifications required for demolition and asbestos abatement, evidence of insurance and bonding capacity, and a list of at least three similar Michigan demolition projects completed in the last five years.
