This is a Request for Information (RFI) for the replacement of endoscope reprocessor systems at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. The contractor will be required to deliver and install new equipment, including accessories and training, within 90 days of contract award. An OEM authorization letter is mandatory for all responses, and failure to provide it will result in disqualification. Vendors must also complete the Trade Agreement Certificate. The government is seeking information to determine the best acquisition strategy and identify responsible sources. The warranty must be at least 1 year on all parts and labor, beginning upon completion of validation testing, and should include onsite repairs and over-the-phone support.
The contractor shall deliver the required commodities no later than 90 days or less from the date of the award, otherwise directed by the contracting officer. The delivery is expected within 90 days ARO (After Receipt of Order).
At a minimum, the cart washer and washer-disinfectors and accessories must include a 1-year warranty on all parts and labor at no cost to the government. Additional years are highly recommended as added value to the government. The warranty shall begin upon completion of validation testing and include onsite repairs and over-the-phone support.
The government intends to award a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract for this purchase. Evaluation factors include technical capability, quality of proposed solution and delivery terms, maintenance availability, price, past performance, OEM authorized distributor letter, and Trade Agreement Certificate.
To qualify, vendors must provide an OEM authorization letter, complete the Trade Agreement Certificate, and answer all questions from 1 to 14. Prospective quoters must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website and complete representations and certifications.
