RFP for on-call repair and emergency services for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, overhead door, and fencing trades for the City of Durham's Department of Water Management facilities. The terms of payment for the work provided by contractor shall be set forth in each service order. Invoices are to be submitted monthly, and the city shall pay undisputed amounts within thirty (30) days of receipt.
The contractor shall warrant that the work is in substantial conformance with the service order. Within one year after final payment, any defective work must be repaired or replaced by the contractor at their expense.
Award will be based on a combination of factors including team qualifications (30 points), project experience and references (30 points), team location and availability (20 points), and cost (20 points).
Contractors must provide project details and references for at least 5 projects completed within the past 5 years, possess appropriate licenses and certifications for the industry, and submit qualifications of key personnel.

Proposals may be rejected if they do not comply with RFP format, if the candidate is overdue on city property taxes, or if the contractor fails to comply with equal business opportunity program requirements.
