Bryan ISD is seeking proposals for security guard services, including 15 full-time guards and one supervisor. The contract term is one year with options for three one-year renewals. Vendors must be licensed by the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies, have at least three years of experience with governmental agencies, and be adequately insured and bonded. All security guards and supervisors must maintain current Texas Department of Public Safety registration and certification. Guards must be trained in active threat response and de-escalation. Background checks are mandatory for all employees. Proposals are to be submitted online by July 13, 2026, 10:00 AM CT. The award will be based on the best value to the district, considering price, qualifications, experience, and ability to meet district needs.
Proposals must be received no later than July 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM CT. Late submissions will be disqualified.
Payment will be made under terms of net 30 days unless otherwise agreed upon. Invoices should reference the correct Bryan ISD purchase order number and be itemized.
All goods and services provided must be warranted to be free from defects in material, workmanship, and design for one year upon acceptance or payment.
The contract will be awarded to the bidder offering the best value, considering purchase price (30%), qualifications and experience (25%), ability to meet district needs (20%), past performance (10%), and vendor reputation (15%).

If a vendor fails to honor quoted prices or fulfill contract terms, Bryan ISD may insist the vendor honor prices, pay the difference to the next acceptable response, pay the difference to the open market price, or recommend termination of the agreement and exclusion from future bids.

Disqualification may occur for late submissions, failure to meet requirements, past poor performance, collusion, falsified or misrepresented information, or failure to comply with criminal background check requirements.
