Financial obligations payable after the current fiscal year are contingent upon funds for that purpose being appropriated by the city council of the city of lafayette, budgeted, and otherwise made available.

If a vendor submits more than one bid, the entire bid will be nonresponsive, therefore disqualified.

Proposals must include warranty details as part of the total cost for replacement options.

The award shall be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the city, taking into consideration the price and evaluation factors set forth in this request for proposal.

Proposals must include firm qualifications, project schedule for each location, staffing plan resumes of key personnel, subconsultant list, subcontractor list, pricing sheets, gas electric sample certificate of insurance, recent loss run history report and 300a osha report.

A mandatory onsite visit is scheduled for August 17, 2026 9: 00am lafayette public library 10:00am lafayette police department.

A protest must be submitted within seven 7 working days after such aggrieved person knows, or should have known, of the facts giving rise thereto.

Proposals will be considered only from firms or individuals that are well established in an appropriate field, who are financially responsible, and who have the resources and ability to provide services in a professional and timely manner.

Proposals must be uploaded to the Rocky Mountain e-Purchasing System, Bidnet, by August 31, 2026, 5:00 PM MT.

The contractor shall provide a minimum one-year warranty on all labor and workmanship from the date of final acceptance by the City. Manufacturer warranties on all fencing panels, gate components, and hardware will be passed through to the City.

Proposals will be evaluated based on experience qualifications (25 points), safety code compliance (25 points), price (25 points), material compatibility and product quality (15 points), and project timeline (10 points).

Vendors will be evaluated on their demonstrated experience performing comparable fencing installation and removal projects, safety code compliance, material compatibility, and project timeline. Proposals must meet all mandatory qualification requirements.

A pre-proposal conference is optional and scheduled for August 11, 2026, at 9 AM at the Great Outdoors Water Park.

Samples or finish representations demonstrating consistency with the existing Ameristar Montage Plus Classic model ornamental steel fencing are required.

Protests must be submitted in writing to the City's Finance Department within seven (7) working days after the aggrieved person knows, or should have known, of the facts giving rise thereto. Challenges to solicitation requirements should be made within seven (7) working days of when the protestable item is known.

Failure to meet mandatory submission requirements, late proposals, or failure to accept contractual obligations may result in disqualification or cancellation of award.
