The owner prefers a general contractors license for trade coordination. However, if a licensed roofing contract may submit a bid as long as the insurance and bonding capabilities are met in addition, a licensed electrical contractor, mechanical and plumbing contractor must be listed on the bid.

The first site tour will be scheduled for augusta 10, 2026 @1: 30 pm sharp.

If a licensed electrical contractor, mechanical and plumbing contractor must be listed on the bid. If this is not provided, the bid will be disallowed.

Bids are due no later than 2:00 p. m. , August 10, 2026. Offers are subject to rejection if not received by the due date and time specified

Payment will be per completion, net 30 upon receipt of invoice and verification of completion by FMO personnel.

The Columbia County School District will give full and proper consideration to the service, reputation, product knowledge, and experience of all companies presenting bids, in addition to bid cost. having the lowest bid price does not necessarily guarantee contract award

Contractors must submit at least 3 job references sufficient to demonstrate a company's capability to successfully execute a project of the same scope and size. ccsd reserves the right to conduct a reasonable inquiry to determine the qualifications of a contractor.

The bid bond will be forfeited to the Columbia County School District as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the contract and provide performance and payment bonds within ten 10 days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will start at 10:00 a. m. Friday July 28, at CVA, **** Columbia Road, Grovetown GA **** will begin in the front office

Late bids may not be accepted. Failure to execute bid prior to submittal may render the bid invalid. Failure to promptly supply requested information may result in disqualification. Failure to provide all required RFP documents may result in disqualification.
