This is a public tender for historical façade improvements at 104 E. Main Street, Norristown, Pennsylvania. The owner shall make payments on account to the contractor as provided in the general conditions, with retainage of 10% of the total value owed in each pay period.
Upon final completion and acceptance of the project, the contractor agrees to warranty all materials and workmanship for one year after the final completion date.
Consideration will be given to bids received from qualified bidders that perform quality work for the lowest responsible price. The owner is not obligated to accept the lowest bidder.
Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance required for the work.
If the contractor neglects, refuses, or fails to complete the work by the final completion date, the contractor shall credit the owner the sum of **** for each calendar day that the contractor is in default.
