Bids are due by August 5, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Delivery of equipment is to be made within 8 weeks after an order is placed, coordinated with the school district's representative.

Payment for the used position of an inferior delivery will be made on an adjusted price basis. Payments of any claim shall not preclude the school district from making claim for adjustment of any item found not to have been in accordance with general conditions and specifications.

The combioven requires a minimum 2-year manufacturer warranty covering parts, labor, and travel. Any merchandise provided under the contract which is or becomes defective during the guarantee period shall be replaced by the successful bidder free of charge.

Award will be made to the bidder offering the lowest total price after discount on items specified. The district reserves the right to award by item, by group, or in the aggregate.

Bidders must be qualified vendors. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids.

If the successful bidder fails to deliver within the time specified, or fails to make replacements of rejected articles, the school district may purchase from other sources to take the place of the item rejected or not delivered, and the successful bidder agrees to reimburse the school district promptly for excess costs occasioned by such purchases.

Failure to complete any part of the bid packet, failure to submit bids on enclosed forms, or submitting illegible or vague bids may result in rejection.

The project is scheduled for completion by October 1, 2026.

Successful bidders shall warrant that all items/services shall conform to the proposed specifications and implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose as stated in the uniform commercial code and be free from all defects in material, workmanship and title.

A contract award, if any, will be based on the district's determination of which bid best meets the needs of the district. Judgments to be made may include ability and capacity to perform, experience, reputation, past performance, responsiveness to terms and conditions of the bid, and anticipated cost of services.

Bidders shall submit within three 3 days, if requested by district, such evidence of the bidders competency and practical knowledge to do the particular work covered by this bid and of the bidders financial responsibility, resources, experience, organization and equipment to complete the proposed work.

The amount payable to Littleton Public Schools under the guaranty bond shall be forfeited to Littleton Public Schools as liquidated damages in case of a failure or neglect of the bidder to furnish, execute and deliver the required performance and payment bonds, evidence of insurance, and to enter into, execute and deliver to Littleton Public Schools the contract.

When requested, samples shall be furnished free of expense to district.

Respondent questions are due August 6, 2026, by 2:00 PM.

Failure to comply with the requirement to provide evidence of competency and practical knowledge may result in the rejection of consideration of such bid. The district reserves the right to reject any bid where an investigation of the evidence or information submitted by such bidder does not demonstrate fully that the bidder is qualified to properly carry out the terms of the contract.

The period of performance for this contract is from July 27, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

Invoices shall be submitted upon completion of the work. Payment will be made in accordance with the prompt payment act.

The contractor warrants that the items delivered under this contract are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in the contract.

The solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ) for commercial items. Interested companies shall provide offers in accordance with the attached salient characteristics.

The government may terminate this contract for cause in the event of any default by the contractor, or if the contractor fails to comply with any contract terms and conditions.

Inspections will require a prior five-day notification submitted to the Contract Officers Representative (COR) or Government Representative.

Failure to comply with contract terms and conditions, or failure to provide adequate assurances of future performance, may result in termination for cause.

Bids are due by 2:00 p. m. , Wednesday, June 29, 2026.

The state shall have thirty 30 calendar days after receipt of invoice or satisfactory delivery of goods or performance of the services to make payment.

Award, if made, shall be to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest total base bid.

To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a certificate of compliance from Hawaii Compliance Express at the time of bidding.

Liquidated damages is fixed at the sum of two hundred and no/100 dollars (****) for each and every calendar day the contractor delays the completion of this contract after the required date of said completion.

The contract administrator or his representative reserves the right to inspect contractors job performance at any time and may require the contractors presence during inspection.

A protest based upon the content of the solicitation shall be submitted in writing within five 5 working days after the aggrieved persons knows or should have known of the facts giving rise thereto.

Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from an obligation under his bid submitted.

The estimated cost of the base scope of work is 1,000,****.

The response due date has been extended to June 19, 2025, 2 PM EST.

Payment will be made by EFT, with net 30 days terms.

The conveyor oven shall include a minimum one year manufacturers warranty. The pizza preparation refrigerator has a 7-year compressor warranty, 7 years parts warranty, and 7-year labor warranty. The pizza counter has a one-year warranty.

The award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. A lowest price technically acceptable evaluation will be conducted.

Vendors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and in SBA Small Business Search.

Misrepresenting a firm's status as a small business concern can lead to fines, imprisonment, administrative remedies, and ineligibility for program participation.
