Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) is seeking an executive search firm to help recruit and hire its 13th president. Proposals are due October 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST. Clarifying questions must be submitted by October 3, 2025. The selected firm will be expected to enter into a contract for services with MCLA. Payment terms are net 45 days from invoice receipt. Proposals must include a sealed technical non-price proposal and a sealed price proposal. The selection committee will review proposals and select the most advantageous technical proposal from a responsible and responsive proposer, taking into consideration price and all evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP. Additional documents (W9, statement of state tax compliance, and certification of noncollusion) are required.

Must have successfully completed at least three 3 presidential or chancellor-level searches at accredited colleges or universities within the past five years. Proven track record of producing a qualified and diverse pool of candidates. Search consultants will have experience in higher education leadership. Must provide at least three 3 references from recent higher education executive searches that are positive.
