The contract is for administrative support for an INA-based
education program at the Hawaii State Art Museum Capitol Modern. The program will run from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. The contract requires 5 years of experience planning, coordinating, documenting, developing collateral for, and evaluating multidisciplinary standards-based art museum outreach
education programs for grades 3-5, 10 years of experience working with DOE administrators, teachers, systems, and procedures, and teaching artists of all arts disciplines, 10 years of experience planning, coordinating, and evaluating professional development programs for teaching artists, classroom teachers, and museum presenters, 5 years of experience with museum
education outreach program design supporting national core arts standards, 5 years of experience organizing and coordinating program application processes and selection panel meetings, and 5 years of experience in fiscal coordination for museum outreach
education programs. The contractor will be responsible for various tasks, including conceptualizing program themes and strategies, monitoring program quality, ensuring scheduling, developing materials, scheduling professional development sessions, designing program content, preparing a budget, providing onsite support, maintaining communication, coordinating with schools, conducting pre-visit orientations, contracting with community partners, inventorying and purchasing supplies, providing program oversight, preparing orientation materials, collecting and summarizing evaluation forms, and preparing a final report. Offers will be evaluated based on scope of work, qualifications, work samples, professional references, and budget.
