Hesperia Unified School District is soliciting sealed bids for a Bell System Upgrade at Hesperia High School. Unless otherwise agreed, the district will pay properly submitted vendor invoices within forty-five (45) days of receipt of goods or services, or a combination of both. Payment will not be made until goods or services are delivered, installed if required, and accepted as specified.
The contractor warrants to the district that material and equipment furnished under the contract will be of the highest quality and new unless otherwise required or permitted by the contract documents, that the work will be free from defects not inherent in the quality required or permitted, and that the work will conform to the requirements of the contract documents. The contractor shall furnish district with all appropriate guarantee or warranty certificates upon completion of the project.
It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the total project.
Contractors must be licensed and prequalified through PQ Bids. Bidders must possess proper licenses for performance of this contract prior to submittal of bid documents. Subcontractors must possess the appropriate licenses for each specialty subcontracted prior to submittal of bid documents.
Liquidated damages are specified for delays in contract submittals (**** per day) and for delays in time of completion (**** per day). Failure to comply with the drug-free workplace certification may result in suspension of payments or termination of the contract and debarment from future contracting.
