All work must be substantially completed within 130 days of the notice to proceed, and ready for final payment within 30 days of substantial completion. The contract is for 160 calendar days. all work shall be substantially completed by the contractor in a manner satisfactory to the city project manager within one hundred and thirty 130 days of the start date indicated on the notice to proceed

Invoices are submitted monthly on A1A G703 forms. A 5% retainage is held until final completion. Payments are made for completed items agreed upon by contractor and city inspector. a five percent 5 retainage will be held on the funds until the project has been accepted and issued a final completion by the owner

A 3-year material and labor warranty is required from the date of substantial completion, covering operational failure from defective material or workmanship. the contractor will provide a three 3 year material and labor warranty from the date of substantial completion

Award will be made to the lowest bidder with the lowest total cost for the project. award will be made to the lowest bidder whose pricing has the lowest total cost for the project

Bidders must have 3 years of roadway resurfacing experience, be FDOT prequalified in grading, flexible paving, and sidewalk work classes, and hold MOT/TTC advanced certification. bidder must be fdot prequalified with reviewed financial statements in the following work classes

Liquidated damages apply for delays after substantial completion, with daily charges based on contract amount, plus an additional **** per day for failure to complete remaining work. the contractor shall pay an additional **** per day for each calendar day that expires after the time specified

Bids may be considered nonresponsive if the current FDOT prequalification letter is not uploaded with the bid submission. bidders must upload their current fdot prequalification letter with their bid submission, or their bid may be considered nonresponsive

Bidders must certify no collusion and no interest by county officials. the bidder certifies that this bid is made without any connection with any other person making a bid for the same purpose

Failure to deliver may cause cancellation and removal from bidder list. failure to deliver within the specified time may be cause for cancellation of the order andor the removal of bidders name from bidders list

Bids may be rejected for non-acceptance of EFT payment. any successful bidder that will not accept payment in that method will be considered nonresponsive to our solicitation and their bid may be rejected
