Construction of forcemain and watermain improvements 1. Mobilization/demobilization, general requirements, bonds, and insurance. 2. Protection of existing materials, structures, and equipment. 3. Utility work: - Install approximately 9, 941 linear feet ( LF) of new 12- inch watermain ( PVC DR18) by open cut. - Install approximately 11, 732 LF of new 10- inch forcemain ( PVC DR18) by open cut. - Install approximately 2, 199 LF of new 12- inch forcemain ( HDPE DR11) by horizontal directional drill ( HDD). - Install approximately 341 LF of new 16- inch watermain ( HDPE DR11) by HDD. - Install approximately 310 LF of new 10- inch forcemain ( PVC DR18) by jack and bore. - Tie in 10- inch forcemain into existing wastewater system at Jimmy Mixson Water Reclamation Facility. - Install associated fittings, valves, and accessories. 4. Complete restoration of roadway, driveways, fencing, and vegetation. 5. Complete maintenance of traffic. 6. Complete soil erosion and sediment control.
