The Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) is seeking bids for the Honuakaha senior rental project unit improvements. The project involves upgrading and repairing units within the premises, including kitchen improvements (cabinets, countertops, appliances), flooring replacement, air conditioning alcove replacement, bathroom improvements, lighting improvements, drywall repair, bed bug and termite inspection and treatment, and door replacement. Bidders must be registered on the state's electronic procurement system (hiepro). A pre-bid conference and site inspection is scheduled for May 14, 2025. The deadline for submitting written inquiries is May 15, 2025, and the deadline for the solicitation is May 20, 2025. The contractor must warranty their work for one year and provide all manufacturer warranties. The project is subject to the Davis-Bacon wage rate and HUD requirements. A site visit is possible. The contractor must complete the job within 3 working days.
