This is a notice of intent to solicit for an indefinite quantity contract (IQC) for NSN **** 00 780 ****, a duct, bleed air. The contract will have a 5-year base period with an estimated annual quantity (EAQ) of 40 each. Production units will be FOB: destination with inspection and acceptance at origin. The item is critical but not a critical safety item, and export control applies. The government intends to negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under FAR **** due to the source-controlled OEM being Lockheed Martin. Approved sources are Arrowhead Products and Senior Operations. DLA Aviation does not possess complete technical data, and any other interested contractor must submit a source approval request (SAR) package. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but all proposals received within 45 days of publication will be considered. The government is not using commercial item acquisition policies. A reverse auction may be conducted, and offerors are encouraged to review tutorials on the Procurex system. Contractors must be registered in SAM. gov to receive an award. The final award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors. The estimated solicitation issue date is 06/11/2026, and the solicitation will be available via DIBBS. Registration in SAM. gov is required.
