The anticipated period of performance includes a base period of one year with four additional one year option periods. The base period is anticipated from September 15, 2026, to September 14, 2027.

Contractors must ensure appropriately trained personnel with an advanced degree and/or professional hands-on experience in archaeological conservation, analytical chemistry, or collection management. Staff must have a background in conservation science, archaeology, or a related field, and abide by the code of ethics set forth by the American Institute of Conservation (AIC).
