Concrete Aggregate Government Bids & RFPs

The estimated budget for this project is $0. 00.

The vendor shall provide material only when requested by the cemetery contracting officer representative (COR). Material shall be delivered within fifteen (15) days from the day requested.

The contractor shall submit an invoice electronically, in arrears, at the end of each month.

Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition.

In the event damages result to turf, structures, headstone, markers, monuments, irrigation sprinkler, trees, gravesites, curb, road, flower vases, facility structures, fences, disfigurement or damage to structure or property on or adjacent to this project, third parties, etc. , due to neglect by the contractor, repair, replacement and/or replacement costs of the damaged item will be required at no additional cost to the government as directed by the COR.

Please provide sample pricing of 1 ton of each deliverable if available.

The bid submission deadline is 2:30 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

The bid notice states that discounts will be considered in the bid evaluation and will be taken without regard to date of payment.

The City of Decatur reserves the right to award this bid to a single vendor or multiple vendors when in the best interest of the city. Further, the city reserves the right to give preference to the vendor quoting the most line items.

Any individual, company, or corporation doing business with the City of Decatur must possess and show proof thereof all proper licenses and/or proper certifications required by federal, state and local statutes and regulations prior to award when requested.

The time of completion for the project is sixty 60 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed.

The city will pay the contractor a sum equal to 100 percent 100 of the compensation set forth herein, less the total of all previous partial payments, paid or in the process of payment. Final payment of retainage withheld will not be made sooner than ninety 90 days after project completion.

The winning contractor will be required to provide an eighteen month 18 warranty on all work completed.

Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.

Bids will be considered only from experience and well equipped contractors engaged in work of this type and magnitude. The contractor must be listed on the current Georgia Department of Transportation prequalified contractors list and must provide a copy of company certificate of qualification in the bid package. Bidder should provide a minimum of 5 years of verifiable years of experience project listing in road patching, and resurfacing.

The parties agree that in the event the contractor fails to perform within the specified contract period the contractor shall pay the city liquidated damages andor default of contract in accordance with section **** and **** of the Georgia Department of Transportation standard specifications, for each calendar day in excess of the contract time until the project is considered substantially complete by the city.

A prebid conference will be held at woodehaven at chattahoochee townhomes off of peachtree industrial boulevard in duluth, georgia ****, on thursday, june 4, 2026 at 10:00 a. m.
