The project welcomes alternative methodologies that provide an equal or better performance outcome. The solution must be scalable with statistical reporting. The school system is requesting a proposal for connections at or above 10GB with the option for higher data rates. The school board is interested in the total scope of services offered by vendors focused on secure WAN solutions. The vendor must provide a complete system from installation of wiring to configuration of all system components. The vendor must have broad and demonstrated experience in WAN infrastructure in school systems similar to St. Tammany Parish. The vendor must provide details on the use of any approved subcontractors. The school board will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by any vendor in the development of a response to this request. The vendor must protect all buildings, equipment, and property from damage. All work must adhere to all applicable city, parish, state, and federal codes. All vendor personnel must check in with office personnel prior to any onsite work. All vendor personnel on a campus must submit to a background check. All vendor personnel with access to onsite network resources must complete cyber security training prior to the start of the project and annually thereafter. The vendor must supply costs and details to complete all schools and offices as a single project. The school board reserves the right to add or delete school or office locations without penalty. The table below represents the mandatory walkthrough sites. All pricing must be ERATE compliant. Vendors that do not attend the complete site survey will not be considered.

Proposals for internet service are due October 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Proposals must include six copies, an original, and an electronic copy (flash drive, USB drive, CD, etc. ). All fully executed attachments are required. Proposals submitted electronically must include all attachments. Vendors must be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Contractors, Fire Marshall, and any other licensing authority. A performance bond of 50% of the total order amount is required from the successful vendor. A site survey is mandatory on September 16, 2025, at 8:30 AM at the Information Technology building. The successful bidder must furnish a certificate of insurance within 15 calendar days following award. Sales tax is not included in the proposal price. The school board may reject all proposals if deemed in their best interest. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by September 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

Sealed bids are requested for the purchase of eight special needs school buses. Bids are due by 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Bids must be submitted on the attached form and include a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or money order in the amount of $5,**** is required by August 1, 2026. The buses must meet all applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards and Louisiana statutory requirements. The successful bidder must provide a warranty and service center within a 35-mile radius of the St. Tammany Parish School Board transportation department. A site visit inspection of the lowest bidder's warranty service work facility may be conducted prior to award. Preference is given to Louisiana-produced materials. The school board reserves the right to adjust quantities and reject any and all bids.
