The delivery for the diesel landscaper truck is FOB destination within five hundred forty (540) calendar days. For battery electric pickup trucks and battery electric cargo vans, delivery is FOB destination within three hundred sixty (360) calendar days. The general delivery terms are specified in Appendix B: Term/Schedule of Work.

Payments will be authorized by the director after completion of performance or delivery and acceptance of all materials, goods, and services, and after invoices are received. Payments will be made no later than thirty (30) calendar days following receipt of the statement for goods received and services completed.

The vehicle manufacturers' standard new vehicle warranty is required. For diesel vehicles, a 6-year/100,000-mile warranty is specified. For battery electric vehicles, an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty on the high voltage battery, electric motor, and related components is required, with a zero deductible amount for the covered period.

The City shall award a contract to the responsive, responsible offeror with the lowest total price for each item.

Offerors must be responsive and responsible. They must satisfy the license requirement of Chapter 437 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes and provide proof of compliance within three (3) calendar days of the City's request. Successful offerors must also be registered on the Hawaii Compliance Express system or submit required tax clearances and certificates of compliance prior to award.

The notice states that failure to meet contract requirements will constitute a breach of contract that may result in suspension or debarment, and the exercise of rights and remedies as provided by law.

The notice states that offerors shall not include samples or descriptive literature unless expressly requested. Any unsolicited samples or descriptive literature will not be examined or tested.

The deadline to submit requests for clarifications/substitutions is March 20, 2026.
