The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking proposals for the lease of agricultural land and buildings at the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site. The lease term could commence as early as March 1, 2026, with a maximum term of 10 years. The minimum annual rent in lease year 1 is $24,000, subject to CPI adjustments. Proposals must be submitted electronically by February 6, 2026. Site tours are scheduled upon request. The selected offeror will have exclusive negotiation rights to enter into a lease. The lessee is responsible for maintenance, utilities, and following organic farming guidelines. The lease is subject to concurrent jurisdiction.
