NIST is seeking information from vendors about their capabilities to provide specific equipment and materials for a facility. The system must attach to the part undergoing inspection, and the minimum radius of curvature is 2. 5 feet. The system must be a mobile type unit to inspect aircraft flight control surfaces, panels, and doors. The contract is a firm fixed price type. The estimated period of performance is 180 days. This is a market research notice from NIST for laboratory equipment and supplies. NIST is seeking vendors capable of providing a new vacuum bake out enclosure for the Ionization Gauge Calibration Service (IGCS). The notice includes detailed specifications, drawings, and CAD files. Vendors must submit responses by email, including company information, equipment details, technical specifications, performance capabilities, customization options, and any limitations. The vendor shall perform the fabrication of eight spheres in two batches, four and four. Slac will provide drawings, supporting documents, 4. 6-inch diameter RF flanges, and mode converter to perform RF measurements. The vendor shall develop all required fixtures for handling and performing the various manufacturing processes and measurements. Suggestions from vendors for optimizing the manufacturing process will be considered and must be approved by SLAC. The vendor shall perform prebrazing RF tests of the structure and use results of the tests to tune the cavity frequency by machining spheres features according to provided procedure. The piece parts used in the device assembly shall be cleaned consistently with provided specifications. The completed structure assembly shall be joined together through a high-temperature brazing process using copper/gold braze alloys. After the brazing, as soon as practical, the device should be filled and kept under nitrogen. The complete assembly shall be helium leak checked to verify the integrity of the vacuum joints and integrity of cooling circuit. The vendor shall perform final tuning of the cavity before shipping it to SLAC. The completed device shall be packaged in nitrogen-filled bags, secured for safe shipping and then shipped to SLAC. The vendor must demonstrate 5 or more years of experience manufacturing precision ultrahigh vacuum components, a portfolio of ultrahigh vacuum RF components delivered to national laboratories, and the capability to perform X-band RF measurements. Vendors should follow drawing specifications. Any deviations from the drawings or processes must be approved by SLAC. The first 4 sets are needed by October 10, 2025. Payment terms are net 30 unless otherwise stated. Offerors must be registered with SAM (System for Award Management). Questions/clarifications must be submitted no later than April 28, 2025.

The tender is for the supply of aircraft hydraulic, vacuum, and de-icing system components. The offerors must submit a technical proposal (Part I) and a business management proposal (Part II). The technical proposal should not contain any cost information other than references to past projects.
