The delivery schedule indicates a base year start date of 08/12/2026 and an end date of 08/11/2031 for all items.

The contractor warrants and implies that the items delivered hereunder are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in this contract.

All contractors must have a working knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 80, NFPA 101, NFPA 13, and OSHA requirements and procedures. Past experience in medical centers is preferred. Technicians must be licensed and certified for specific systems.

In the event of the contractor's or a subcontractor's noncompliance with the clause addressing DEI discrimination, this contract may be canceled, terminated, or suspended in whole or in part, and the contractor or subcontractor may be declared ineligible for further government contracts.

The total award amount is $687,****.

A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 9:00 am, with an optional walkthrough on Friday, July 17, 2026, for contractors who attended the mandatory meeting.

All work needs to be complete within 90 days of award. The deadline for completion is 09/30/2026.

Contractor to provide an unconditional guarantee against defect of all workmanship, all equipment, and material for a period of one year from date of acceptance by the county.

The county expectation is that the vendor will hold appropriate licenses/certifications for trade. The awarded contractor to provide a timeline from awarding of the bid to completion of installation of the building.

The contractor will forfeit a penalty to the contracting public body of $100 per day or portion of a day for each worker that is paid less than the prevailing rate. Award will be made based on the best overall quote that is determined to provide the greatest assessed value to the government, with appropriate consideration given to the four evaluation factors: a technical proposal, b project organization and staffing, c experience, and d price.

Failure to comply with Common Access Card (CAC) procedures may result in immediate work stoppage, disapproval of invoices, withholding of final payment, or documentation of noncompliance in the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS).
