This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the replacement of a gas-fired steam humidifier at the Kent County Human Services Complex. The specific model required is Dristeem GTSLX300, and alternates will not be accepted. The project involves removing the existing humidifier, transporting and installing the new one, and ensuring all connections (electrical, gas, water, humidity output) are functional and meet specifications. The work is desired to be completed by July 31, 2026. A mandatory onsite pre-submission conference is scheduled for April 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM. All goods shall consist of the original manufacturer warranty in addition to any other warranties specified in this solicitation. The respondent shall execute all documents necessary to transfer applicable express warranties to Kent County. The respondent shall not disclaim any warranty recognized by Michigan law including the warranty of merchantability or the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
The respondent must provide 3 references of current/past customers who can verify the quality of products and/or services of similar size and scope. Contract employees requiring access to county facilities must undergo a criminal background check before starting work. The respondent should expect that it will take up to three weeks to conduct a criminal background check.
