Sealed proposals are due by August 10, 2026, 10:00 AM for the purchase of one 2026 Chevrolet **** HD or equivalent vehicle. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price. A certificate of insurance with specific liability limits is required. Bidders must inspect specifications and contract documents. A preliminary site visit is mandatory, and the town may reject bids from contractors who have not visited the work site. Delivery must be within 60 days of acceptance notification.

Warranty/guarantee is a factor in determining the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price.
The award shall be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated or responsive bid price, considering bid price, specifications, delivery date, documentation, warranty/guarantee, and early payment discount.
The town reserves the right to request evidence that bidders are normally engaged in purveying the type of product bid on. Bidders must submit literature and necessary details. The awarding authority will require satisfactory evidence of ability, experience, capital, and equipment.
Failure to complete the project within the agreed time schedule will result in a liquidated damage cost of **** per day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, until completion and final acceptance, excluding warranty periods.
Prebid conferences may or may not be scheduled; it will be the responsibility of each bidder to visit the site and be familiarized. The town of North Kingstown can reject any bid of a contractor who has not visited the work site.
Samples are not required for this bid.
