The U. S. Department of Energy intends to award a sole source contract modification to Montech, Inc. for personnel security support services. This modification will extend the contract for six months (July 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026) to ensure continuity of critical services at the Idaho National Laboratory. The services include adjudication of security clearances, processing clearance packages, personal identity verification, and management of sensitive records. A mandatory requirement is that all contractor personnel must possess an active DOE Q security clearance. Montech, Inc. is the incumbent contractor and its personnel are fully trained and possess the required clearances. The agency believes no other source can satisfy the requirement without unacceptable delays. Interested parties who believe they can meet the full scope of the requirement, including having a workforce with active DOE Q clearances, may submit a capability statement by July 3, 2026, 4:00 PM ET. This is not a request for competitive proposals.
