This is a request for proposal (RFP) for an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for pelican cases. The contract period is five years, including a one-year base year and four one-year option years. Proposals must be submitted electronically via email to the specified addresses. The government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the contractor within 30 days. New NSNs may be added to the IDIQ via an addition modification. Late delivery will result in price reductions. The contractor will be charged for incorrect packaging or marking. Orders will be sent through EDI and contractor portal. Shipments to GSA Department of Defense (DOD) overseas customers are shipped using the Defense Transportation System (DTS). Shipments to federal civilian agencies are shipped via the government bill of lading (GBL) method. Shipments must be marked in accordance with FedSTD 123H for civilian agencies and MILSTD 129R for military and DOD agencies. The contractor will be provided with a guide to avoiding frustrated freight and standard operating procedures for the contractor supplier network after award. The successful proposals will be required to provide examples of proper labels to the contracting officer before being approved to begin shipping.
