Required capabilities include managing multiple task orders, strategic planning, financial control, process governance, process improvement, expertise in the ITS standards lifecycle, pre-standardization engineering, architecture alignment, maintenance evolution, verification and validation of standards, cybersecurity and privacy, field evaluation, certification frameworks, consensus mediation, public sector support, collaborative management, developer support, education outreach, and marketing dissemination. Knowledge in specific ITS areas like digital curb management, V2X, vehicle automation, complete trips, complete streets, C2C and C2T interfaces, and multimodal mobility services is also required.
