Sealed proposals are sought from qualified proposers to provide WAN
fiber services and other ERATE approved solutions. Proposals are due February 8, 2024, at 9:00 AM, at the Los Alamitos Unified School District, **** Bloomfield Street, Los Alamitos, CA **** will be publicly opened at 9:30 AM. Proposers must be knowledgeable of and comply with all ERATE requirements, including reporting requirements and compliance with applicable federal laws. Proposers must provide a permanent SLD service provider identification number (SPIN) and FCC registration number. The project is funded in part by the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as part of the ERATE Universal Service Fund (USF). The district reserves the right to award specific items on an individual per line item basis. The successful proposer will be notified in the event of an award. The contract period is for a five-year term, starting July 1, 2024, or upon approval and acceptance of active service. All proposers must consider the timeframe between the submission of the proposal and the projected project start date of July 1, 2024. The district reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the bidding process. Proposers must submit all required information, including proposal forms, and a list of subcontractors. The district will not meet with any proposer to discuss their proposed equivalent solution. The district reserves the right to reject any proposal that does not clearly establish its proposal for the designated solution. The district reserves the right to limit the scope of work, including scaling back the scope, removing sites and associated services/equipment, and approving service substitutions. The proposer shall guarantee via a service level agreement (SLA) that all service provided will be available **** or better per year, 365 days per year, 24 hours per day. Proposers must be familiar with, and demonstrate the ability to comply with, all regulations and requirements for the SLD ERATE program. Proposers shall be solely responsible for ensuring all subcontractors comply with the ERATE requirements. Proposers must be familiar with all applicable federal ERATE policies and are required to abide by the requirements for proposers under the ERATE program. The district reserves the right to reject late proposals. Only written proposals will be considered. Proposals must respond to the district's RFP and complete the forms provided. Proposers may not modify the RFP forms when providing a response. The completed proposal shall be without erasures or alterations. The district will identify the most advantageous proposer based on the requirements set forth in this RFP and the district's needs. The proposal submitted must not contain any erasures, interlineations, or other corrections unless each such correction creates no inconsistency and is suitably authenticated.
