Bids are requested for upfitting six (6) 2026 Ford Interceptors for police use. This is an all-or-none bid, awarded to one bidder. All personnel, materials, and equipment must be provided by the bidder. Bids over $40,000 require a bid bond or cashier's check of at least 5% of the total bid amount. Electronic submittals are required by June 18, 2026, 10:00 AM CT. Late submissions will be rejected. Diagrams and brochures showing specific models and manufacturers' specifications are required attachments.
All work must be completed in the timeframe detailed in the specifications document.
Payment terms for work authorized under the contract shall be net thirty (30) days upon receipt of an acceptable original invoice and after work is performed, inspected and accepted and all required documentation and reports are received in a format acceptable to the city.
The contractor warrants that all articles, materials and goods shall be consistent with manufacturers specifications and will be free from defects. Goods which are not as warranted may be returned at contractor's expense within thirty (30) days after delivery, for either credit or replacement.
Bidders must be qualified and insured companies. The city may make investigations to determine the ability of the contractor to perform the work.
The city reserves the right to assess any costs incurred by the city due to late delivery to the successful bidders. Violations of terms and conditions can result in removal from this and future bids.
Protests must be filed in writing in accordance with the city's protest procedure, posted on the city's website.
Inaccurate bid bond amounts, failure to provide required attachments, late submissions, and failure to comply with terms and conditions can lead to rejection or disqualification.
