Seeking proposals for the purchase and daily delivery of bakery products to the food and nutrition services warehouse. Proposals are due July 17, 2026, by 10:00 AM MST. Samples are due June 25, 2026. The estimated contract value is $709,000 for twelve months. Deliveries are to be made between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday. All products must be manufactured and processed in the United States. A minimum shelf life of seven days is required. Nutritional data and ingredient lists must be provided with the bid submission.
Proposals must be received prior to the proposal deadline, July 17, 2026, by 10:00 AM MST. Late proposals will not be accepted.
Periodic invoices from completed deliveries are accepted. Invoices shall reference the appropriate purchase order number, delivery address, and corresponding delivery ticket or packing slip number. Invoices shall not exceed thirty calendar days from the delivery of the items.
Any samples submitted shall create an express warranty that the whole of the goods provided by the supplier during the contract period shall conform to the sample submitted. The supplier shall be required to provide adequate restitution to the district if this warranty is violated.
The contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible supplier who offers all items and whose pricing offers the lowest cost when all items are added in the aggregate and whose offer will be most advantageous to the district.
Suppliers must provide a supplier profile including length of time in business, company staff size, geographic location, professional staff details, resumes, references, and any current litigation, outstanding judgments, and liens.
Failure to comply with product recall notification requirements may be cause for termination of any existing contracts and removal from the districts approved vendor lists.
Suppliers are required to submit a sample of the goods to be supplied for evaluation by, and at no cost to, the district. Samples shall be submitted prior to the due date and time listed on the schedule of activities.
Suppliers may appeal by submitting, in writing, a detailed request for reconsideration to the districts director of purchasing within 72 hours after the recommendation of award is posted on bidnet.
Any contact with other DPS personnel related to this solicitation, except as authorized by the purchasing director, may deem the supplier disqualified, and the proposal will not be accepted for review.
The estimated total value of this contract for twelve months is 709,000.
