Denver Public Schools (DPS) is seeking proposals for a modern, comprehensive, and fully supported identification badge management system. The system should streamline badge design, issuance, management, and lifecycle tracking. Key requirements include enterprise integration with IAM systems, cloud-based SaaS architecture, intuitive badge design tools, and security compliance. Optional hardware pricing is requested. Implementation, training, and 8x5 technical support are required. Proposals are due August 27, 2026. Evaluation will be based on written responses and potentially oral presentations. The contract term is one year with options to renew.
The proposal deadline for submission via BidNet is August 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM MT. The implementation deadline is January 2027.
The successful supplier shall submit periodic invoices for completed services to the districts accounts payable department. Invoices shall not exceed thirty calendar days from the date of service. The district does not pay any late fees.
Offers will be evaluated based on the best evaluative score derived from written responses and, if necessary, oral presentations. Key criteria include management summary, pricing, project schedule and implementation plan, supplier profile, and value-added services.
Proposals must be received from qualified vendors. Suppliers must provide a supplier profile including company history, staff size, geographic location, professional staff details, resumes, references, and any current litigation.
If the supplier defaults on its contract or the contract is terminated for cause due to performance, the district may charge the supplier any difference between the supplier's price and the price to be paid to the next lowest supplier, as well as any costs associated with the resolicitation effort.
Suppliers may appeal by submitting, in writing, a detailed request for reconsideration to the districts director of purchasing within 72 hours after the recommendation of award is posted on BidNet.
Any contact with other DPS personnel outside of the authorized purchasing director may deem the supplier disqualified. Falsifying certifications may result in prosecution. Failure to adhere to the code of conduct may result in immediate sanctions up to termination.
